Long-time private equity investor and entrepreneur, Ranvir Gujral, founded the firm when he recognized a void for funding options for companies in this life stage.

 

The name Sleeping Bear Capital is a reference to both Sleeping Bear Dunes, a place Ranvir often visited in his home state of Michigan, and to the notion of finding businesses that have not yet woken to their full potential.
